Our Amazing
Animal Friends!

They put smiles on our faces with their never-ending clowning and they have an exceptional sense of empathy. Let’s face it: without our dogs and cats, our lives would be a lot less fun. Yet, interestingly enough, it appears that our loyal companions have a much greater impact on our mental and physical health than many of us first thought.

Here are some of the many benefits that our pets bring to our health:

  • Our little companions truly are mood stabilizers.

That’ s right! Not only do they reduce stress and anxiety by lowering the cortisol level in our bodies, but they also help boost our production of serotonin.

For those of you who may not know, serotonin is commonly referred to as the “happiness hormone”. Usually, this hormone is stimulated by proper nutrition and prolonged exposure to light. So, when people tell you that your pet is a real little sunshine, chances are they’re not so far off!

And that alone surely deserves a tasty beef bite!

  • Our animals can improve our children’s immune system.

It may seem far-fetched at first glance, but when you really think about it, it does make sense. Children who grow up with pets are more exposed to bacteria and allergens, which help build up their immune system. Studies have even shown that these children have fewer allergies than children who don’t have a little companion at home.

  • Dogs help strengthen our hearts, lower our blood pressure, reduce our cholesterol levels, and sometimes even alleviate the symptoms of arthritis.

Now, what’s the secret to their powers? It’s their way of getting us to be physically active! That’s another good reason to get them out for at least 30 minutes a day, as it’s a clear win-win for all of us!

And right for that, your dog should be allowed to eat a delicious boar pâté!

  • Dogs can detect cancer, calm hyperactivity and are increasingly being called upon by therapists in all sorts of situations.

And that’s not to mention the fact that they also act as awesome personal heating pads!

  • Purring Therapy

The cat’s purr is good for itself… but also for those around! In fact, some researchers go so far as to suggest that cats emit low frequencies similar to the waves used by physiotherapists and orthopedic surgeons to heal fractures and accelerate healing.

From there, we can’t help but think of all the benefits you experience when you serve one of our tasty chicken meals to your beloved feline friend!
